About us

Beyond is a unique, award-winning residential estate in Chiton, South Australia, designed to support both people and nature. Every home is energy-efficient, and nearly half the estate is dedicated to parks, wetlands, and green open spaces. Next door, 64 hectares of wetland ponds provide vital habitat for local wildlife and birdlife. Resident gardening volunteers work with the Alexandrina Council to care for the reserves and public spaces, helping to preserve the estate’s natural beauty.

Our incorporate association, Friends of Beyond Inc., was established by the residents to uphold the Wright family’s founding vision–combining sustainable living, well-maintained public spaces, and a strong sense of community. The committee meets monthly to plan events, progress community projects, and ensure Beyond remains a wonderful place to live and invest.

As an incorporated association, we are bound by our constitution and the law. We carry public liability insurance for community events, can apply for grant funding, and collaborate with the council and other stakeholders to benefit all residents and property owners. Your annual membership fee helps make this work possible, supporting initiatives that enhance our shared spaces and strengthen our community.
