Dual naming

The roads in the Beyond development have dual names as can be seen on the streets signs throughout the development.

The Ngarrindjeri words are a translation of the english words, for example:

Dragonfly Boulevard ‘Krawi Tjilyi’

‘Krawi’ Adjective meaning big, great, large, enormous

‘Tjilyi’ Noun, maggot: rice: fly

Aboriginal translations for the other street names are:
Firetail Road ‘Brugi Ponpuni’

Manna Gum Avenue ‘Wuri’

Musk Duck Avenue ‘Peldi’

Needlebush Drive ‘Kathari’

Peregrine Place ‘Wuldi’

Sun Orchid Drive ‘Nanggi Muldi’
